Mission Springs provides needed affordable housing for the growing elderly population, including the frail elderly. Some residents receive services through BayPath Elder Services, Inc. that will support their ability to live independently. At least half of the Mission Springs' 75 residents need assistance in three or more daily living activities such as meal preparation, bathing, and dressing. All occupants meet established income guidelines.
Residents enjoy the peace and quiet of this rural location built on the former Xaverian Foreign Mission Society site. The complex is connected to ten acres of local recreational and Charles River Watershed conservation land. Residents are a short walk to playing fields where they can observe baseball and basketball games or enjoy the walking trails on six acres of conservation land.
