Planner/Grants Manager
Part-time (22.5 hours) position requiring analytical, conceptual, verbal and written communication skills, and an aptitude for record keeping and statistics. Administer the responsibilities of the Area Agency on Aging including monitoring the needs of area elders, implementing needs assessments surveys, and overseeing the RFP process. Working knowledge of Windows applications and Excel needed, professional elder experience a plus. B.A. or B.S. and five years experience or Master's degree plus two years experience. Full time, 37.5 hours. Assessments only; no nights, no weekends, no beeper, no hands-on. Work with interdisciplinary home care team helping elders remain in the community. Knowledge of community resources necessary. Salary $40,000 with benefits. Valid Mass RN license required with bachelors in nursing and three years clinical experience, one in community nursing. Additional two years community nursing or direct long-term care service may be substituted for degree. Adequate computer skills needed.
